Liquid. Organic, like water, dense, like precious metals. The sinuous forms of an object that seems to aspire to the softness of a woman’s body. The surrounding environment is reflected on the jug, and the container becomes part of the content, creating a dramatic, ever-changing effect. This is the composition that contemporary designer Niccolò Poggi wanted to achieve with the Liquid jug, made of ceramic, hand-painted and crafted in Florence by expert artisans. The production process of the Niccolò Poggi Firenze line is entirely innovative; it starts from a two-dimensional drawing or 3D modeling. After creating the models by hand, using different materials such as clay, wood or plaster. This is the real moment of creation, a moment when sensations turn into reality. Later, the skilled hand of the artisans completes the creative process, giving life to a unique piece each time.
