Imagine the cherry blossoms of a Japanese tree in full bloom. The warm colors, the delicacy of the contours. This is what inspired designer Helle Damkjær, creator of the famous Bloom collection. “My studio is based in Paris, one of the most vibrant metropolises in Europe. To challenge and contrast the inspirations I find in the West, I love traveling to the Far East in search of unique landscapes and natural forms of Asia. I was in Japan in spring when I witnessed the overwhelming beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The delicate and soft contours of the cherry blossom shape inspired me to create Bloom,” Helle Damkjær states. The bowls from the Bloom line are made of stainless steel and are both suitable for presenting delicious foods and for decorating any table.
