The Masterpieces collection is a true tribute to Georg Jensen himself, launched in 2008 to coincide with the 90th birthday of the legendary designer Henning Koppel. The latter, among all the designers who have worked with Georg Jensen over the years, has been one of the most appreciated. His designs have played a fundamental role in building Georg Jensen’s brand identity, particularly in the second half of the 20th century. The designer had trained as a sculptor before turning his attention to jewelry and tableware. The HK pitcher is one of his most famous pieces and was first launched in 1952. Simple yet sensual, this collection is a modern reinterpretation of a precious heritage, and of the skilled craftsmanship that dates back to the very early years of Georg Jensen’s production.
